I love it, it's soooooo fun. I'm not going to be affected be Constantine's opinion until I actually see the ending and can confirm or deny that it sucks hardcore.

Also, I too made a video, with James Bond music, take that Kev! lol, jk, but here's my vid. My Assassin's Creed Video 1.

I'm not sure about this one, seems like a game I SHOULD get as it's been reviewed as the only true Next-Gen game...apparently, my mate has it, I'll wait to hear what he has to say about it or maybe borrow it off him first.

Ok i have now completed this game so here goes.

The story line at the start seems to bit a bit confusing, as its like a matrix style machine that you are in your memories / or ancestors memory to be correct.

YOu start off with all abilities to do a mission but you only get to kill one guy, the rest are cut scenes. You then loose all your ranks and weapons because of the mistake and the assassinations you do gains you your weapons back etc, whilst following the storyline of ending the war across the land.

When entering a village you cannot get past guards, you can either go over the top, free-running style or use the monk people to blend in, these monks seem to be able to wonder anywhere they wish.

Once inside the city you must climb up to high view points to discover missions in the area close by.

These missions consist of earwigging, pick pocketing, interrogation (fist fight) and civillian saving (this makes them your allies who help you get away by grabbing persueing guards etc).

The actual assassinations are good, im sure i could have done them alot better, but i seem to just find it fun to kill every single soldier in my way rather than going all stealth stylie.

Before each assassination you can read through the information gathered which consists of soldier positions, monks path (to get past guards) and targets location and when to strike (ie, when he has his back towards you).

The achievements are quite easy apart from the finding flags and killing all templars, but the others are generally easy, im not going to bother trying to complete all this and will be selling it in hope i can get COD4 for the same price.

One last major tip is when completing informer challenges where you have to assassinate templar guards within a time limit, it is soo much easier if you make sure there are no dead bodies laying around (so dont go on killing sprees in that area) as this attracts guards and puts them on alert which makes assassinating VERY hard.

The ending of the story line is, as constantine said, not particularly the best but it has left it WIDE open for a sequal.

All in all i would rate this game as 9.5/10 the 0.5 was lost due to the lack of extra weapons such as bow and arrow and more moves and stuff, maybe they will add this in the sequal, but yeah, this is a must get for someone who has a few days to waste (thats how long it takes to complete)

I noticed that you got the kill one of your targets like a true assassin achievement. Yet, you said you just run in and kill all the guards all non-stealth. But with that fat guy(not a spoiler) I just ran up and shivved him through the neck. The name of that achievement is Blade in the Crowd, that's what I did, so how did you get that achievement? Also, I saw that you didn't get the last 10 minutes in open conflict achievement, that one's soooo easy, but a bit boring. Kill all the guards except for one, than slowly run to the Anarchists or Rebels or whatever they are, they'll hold him, than just keep a rebel between you and one of the guards for 10 minutes. Easy, just a little boring... What's the Disciple of the Creed achievement? Do you have to kill them all with full health? Also, how'd you get the Eagle's Challenge Achievement(25 kills in 1 fight) they always run away from me after I killed 15 or so of them... I love this game. I hope they do have a sequel. If they do though, it had better be more replayable.

EDIT: Well, I got the Blade in the Crowd achievement, you just have to stealth assassinate a main target. That official put me over 3,000 gamerpoints(3,005 to be exact) It was also the 22nd out of 44 achievements I've done so far. 1/2 way done.

EDIT 2: Man, speaking of Assassin's Creed achievements. There were a couple people over at the Xbox forum that didn't think that it was possible to get the Eagle's Dive achievement in the training yard, than others said it was, so I made a video of me getting the achievement in the training yard. Than I went to my videos on Youtube and was looking over all my videos, does anyone remember that PSX emulator video I made? That one has 3076 views.

Wow... Just beat Assassin's Creed, it was heading in the right direction, quit going that direction so it could continue with that direction in the sequel. I'll no doubt get the sequel, but the ending had better not be as gay as this one's was...

Either way it was an awesome game, I might replay it someday. Probably when the Assassin's Creed series ends, maybe a little while after that, because I like to play them in order

EDIT: Man, they've got some long credits....

EDIT 2: But hey, it's worth it to watch them all, not going to say how, but it is.

Did anyone understand the Disciple of the Creed achievement? I got it, but I don't understand how... Do you just have to assassinate everyone?

Desciple of the creed is when you assassinate all your targets with a full health bar.

Great game... not sure about the points I got though... still have some street clearring todo apparently.... have lent the game to a mate for a while now so the last few things will have to clear up at a later point....

One thing though... while just riding about I came across some gorge with half built bridges and LOTS of froggy templers but could not find it again!!! any idea's gents?
