BTW, a bit off topic, but if anyone is interested in the type of game i was describing above then you might wanna check out Armed Assault (ArmA), on the PC only atm, but ArmA 2 is coming to all next gen consoles in late 2008. YAY.

It might have already been said, but I don't know and don't want to read through 4 pages to find out.
Don't you just love how every game company releases their games at the same time so people without jobs can't get all the good games? I mean sure, I'm going to get all the good games... Eventually, only thing is that it WILL take a long time. There's so many good games that have/are coming out in November, Kane and Lynch, COD 4, Rock Band, Mass Effect, Assassain's Creed, you can almost count Guitar Hero III. Overall that's about $550 or so including tax, all within the same month, and I'm sure I'm missing a few must have games. What they should do is spread them out a LOT more, that way more people can afford the games, any as long as the game is released before the holiday rush, they're still going to make all the money they would have normally made, plus more since more people will be able to afford it before the holidays. |

With reference to the glut of great game releases to coincide with the Christmas sales.
I can appreciate the frustration involved with have so many goodies just out of the financial reach..... BUT..... on a good note it does mean thnat the older games are reduced dramatically into bargain bins... so have a good old trawl through them bins to see the titles you missed on the last release dates.
