This game is INCREDIBLE... the graphics and effects are FANTASTIC.... completed the solo campaign in 6.5 hours (one sitting(don't worry Ryder bubble still intact)). Best 6.5 hours I have ever spent infron of a screen.
Although I have not completed every little achiecvement in the solo campaign and will go back and play it again it is in multi-player where this game shines it's brightest. Maps are limited at the moment but with some great ones hidden in the thirteen or so that come with the game. The experience points and rewards system will keep people coming back for more and more.... having to become good with each type of weapon is really fun... and getting 1000 exp points for becoming a master at a weapon is great. The assortment of multiplayer types of games is fantastic too.... I am looking forward to playing some of these later. So to sum it all up.... Single player campaign is the dogs furry bits. If a little short... but having said that I have gotten more entertainment out of these 6.5 hours than i have outta games three times as long. Multiplayer is a gem.... different from COD3 as the maps are tight.... and each one has a great number of kill sites to have fun with. So all in all GO BUY IT. Des ![]() |

I just got it yesterday and played through the ship intro and about halfway through the first farm level/rescue mission. So far it's superb. I just have a quick question for anyone that might know.
Is it important to play the previous Call of Duty games in order to get the full experience out of this game? It seems like the story is pretty self contained, but I don't know if I'm missing out on anything since this is the first Call of Duty I've played. Anyone know? |
