I bought Halo 3 at 12am the day it was released. I am loving it the campagin was fun, the multiplayers a blast. A+ game!

Well i did the sad geek bit and was at a launch party... well more of a que in the drizzle than a party

Collected my Legendary edition and a poster and fridge magnet etc... then as work was the next day didn't get a chance to play it until Wednesday night... and then again last night and today...
Finished it on Heroic level and have just started on Legendary level... man it is hard on this setting... even the little grunts can kill you.... been told that the Chieftain Brutes cannot die unless you have a TANK!!!

The helmet that comes with the Legendary edition is AWESOME... good quality and heavy too... the stand is where you store your three DVD's.

The game is ok.. graphics are sweet... story is HALO... what more do you want??? no puzzles just blast and shoot.... been told that to play it on legendary is a whole new experience of sneek and shoot... also the skulls come into play on campaign too.

Played it online tonight for the fiorst time... no lag but very similiar to Halo 2 on multiplayer.... yep you have forge etc but normal maps are prettier and game play the same.

Am I empressed... with the hype YES with the game yes... good game and now I must get back to Stranglehold and shoot them drug barons in the throat.

Beat it with my friend last night. I was hoping for a better ending. I wasn't let down by it though cause I only really get Halo games to play multiplayer.

Apparently someone came across a caveman in the game, lmao. I'm going to find that caveman once I finish beating the game.

There's a quite a bit of weird stuff, in the second level when wandering around the command center I found a Soldier stood knocking on a door and the conversation about passwords he has with the soldier on the other side of the door is quite funny. It doesn't do anything but it's a bit of fun in a quite serious game, I'm loving it, playing on Heroic from the start, quite difficult and someparts have been die, die, die, die, die, die, die until finding a tactic that works but it looks awesome in HD Widescreen and the sound is good too.

I used to host Halo lan parties when the first one came out and I have to agree the real longevity to this game is in multplayer, get about 14 of you packed in a house with 4 boxes and four tellies and pizza and booze and it's manic

my bro bought a 360 a while back and now he wants his xbox back *hes in college and its in AZ* so i was just about to get halo 3 but nooo he had to want it back....

Buy another one, it's worth it, used from gamestop is cheap. especially if you trade some stuff in.

The ending to Halo 3 sucks IMO. I'm not going to share anything about it because I know you all don't want spoilers, I know I didn't, I remember the times I'd run down the hallway with my ears covered saying shut up shut up shut up as the other kids were trying to spoil the ending for me.

My friend's selling his 360 on Ebay. With it he has 3 controllers (one wireless) and over five games (including GHII with one controller) for $400 or so. It's legit of course and it's already been sent in because of the RROD, so you don't have to worry about that again. PM me if you're interested and I'll see what his Ebay username is and such.
