Stars on the gamertag? - PSP-Forum.com

Weezer said that people can rate you online and then the better people rate you, the more stars you get, and the worse they rate, the more the stars go down. I'm assuming that's true, but I've played online a bit with a lot of different people, I'm sure some of those people have rated me, and since I lost my mic so I can't talk smack, and I've played fair, I'm just wondering how many people have to prefer you to go up a star?

I found out where you can view your rep at, and mine says 100% prefer me, 0% avoid me, can you get actual numbers anywhere?

Hello,
What everone has told you is correct... BUT as your gamer score is so low (as you have just started) this is reflected on your star rating also.

Not to fear though as this will increase... No One takes any real notice of them anyway so don't loose any sleep over it.

So if you've got like 12 thousand points like you have, than your stars will go up? I need to rent king kong

EDIT: While I was typing that, I noticed you can change the size of the smileys? What's the point of that if they don't stay the size you put them at?

No, you are able to leave feedback, positive or negative. The more positive you get, the more stars, Negative, then less. Gamer points have nothing to do with it.

Mr.Deathstrike... is that correct??? I always thought that your gamer score had some reflection as well. If you are correct then Bam I have led you up the garden path... what ever I have prefered you as a player so this should help in your star rating.

Lol, well. Mr. Juggler, I do belive that to be true with the player reviews and all. Now that I think about it, it might be a combination actually. Are you saying that the gamescore is what makes it up? I can't really agree that but I am not really 100% sure. If one of you could find out forsure, I would be intrested in knowing, thanks.

I'll call Microsoft and ask them tomorrow, as well as if/how you can take off the credit card on an account...

Mr.Deathstrike.... I, like you, are not too sure now... so we will both to see what ever the true rating system is we all await with baited breaths.... either way people don't give it much thought anyway.

Bamhm... the credit card thing is a weird one with Ms.... I have tried to use my English credit card on Ms and they just do not except it... strange as it is a Barclays P. Visa which is accepted in all corners of the world EXCEPT Ms LIVE!!!... hell I have even purchased new motorbikes and cars with the bloody thing so the odd $30 should not be a problem eh???
So best of luck with your attempts at removing a card.... thinking about it cannot you do that yourself from the live control panel under payments???

Calling them now, I'll post when I get off the phone.

EDIT: lmao, I was watching Crank Yankers the other day, they had a Jewish Guy on there and they had him saying uuuuuuuuh every 30 seconds, I thought for sure they were just giving them a hard time, but I was talking to a guy over at microsoft, he was like uuuuh uuuuuuuuh uuuuuuuuuuh uh uuuh, and I once I was done talking to him, than I asked if he was by change jewish, and he said yes.

Anyways, for the stars, he said gamerpoints and your gamer picture(??) will get you more stars, but it sounded like he didn't know what he was talking about.

As for the card, I was just getting annoyed by him saying uuuuh in between every other word and didn't ask.

EDIT 2: Okay, apparently I was right, that guy didn't know anything, because Odhranus has 3 1/2 stars, but only 170 game points, while I have 990 and still only have 3, I'm now sure that gamerpoints have NO effect on the stars.
