Yes, you can connect a computer to the 360 via ethernet or wireless and watch any compatible video/music/photos via any folder you have set up to be shared. The only reason this streaming thing here is required is because the 360 annoyingly does not support Divx or Xvid. Not sure about USB though but I very much doubt it as a computer wouldn't be connecting as a slave device (required) more a host.

However, I put most of the above on my external 400gb so I just stick that into one of the front USB ports and select 'External USB Device' from whatever format I want to view in the media blade.

Never watched porn in my life. Honest. Ahem.

Anyway, it's a Freecom one that I got from Currys for a mere £70. It's funny when you consider my first hard disk was for my old Amiga 500 back in about 1990 and it cost me about £300 and was a meesly 30mb!

And now my phone has more momery than that.

I really dont want to think about me being on some forum in 60 years time when im your age and be saying, yeah my computer had a keyboard to type.

ok so I know it's possible to stream music and videos to the 360, but how do I TRANSFER music off my PC to my 360 hard-drive? I need to do it soon as i'm losing the laptop soon and need to get my music
