Default I'm getting one! :D

Well, I just wanted to announce that I'm more than likely getting a 360 tonight.

So what are your guy's screen names? Also, I don't have enough money for a game, but I should have enough if my computer parts sell. If they do sell, what game should I get? I was thinking either GoW or Crackdown. I hear they're both REALLY good, but I can't decide, I'm thinking about getting GoW. Chainsaw bayonette baby!

Also, whats the differences between Xbox Live Silver and Gold?

1: My gamertag is Kernel Kev, see below

2: Out of the games i have now, if i could only have one, i would have Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas. I have both GoW and Crackdown and i prefer Crackdown out of the two.

3: Get LIVE gold, silver is just access to video clips etc and being able to communicate with friends. GOLD does it all, play online against others the lot.

+ 1 PS3 owner who will also buy a 360
(360 must have something over the PS3 still then)

1. I just wanted one, I've wanted one for a while, every thing's finally just fallen into place, so I can finally get one. I'll decide which is better later, I'm guessing 360, because it had a whole year over the PS3.

2. I'll add you when I get it.

3. How much does gold cost? Is it around $50, like it was for the Original Xbox? If so, do you know where I can get it cheaper?

4. Would you recommend getting a game or Xbox Live first? Maybe I'll get Vegas first.

5. Can you download games from Xbox Live Silver? Like Access the store and what not?

No silver is cr*p, get gold. Over here its about £30 which is about $55.

I would reccomend you get a game first as they come with 48 hours gold so you can have a taster of what its like. And also if you set up on LIVE before you start playing games then you wont have the problem of your 360 deleting all the game saves like mine did :x

Welcome to the 360 community

I don't think it would, but if you got a used game, but a new account, would you still be able to get the 48 hours? I seriously doubt it, but you never know...

Also, I plan on getting just the regular silver, and maybe/hopefully a game, than get gold in a little while. If I signed up for a silver, than got far in the game, than went gold, would it delete my gamesave? :?

Thanks for answering my questions.

Get Gears of War. When my friend comes over we literally play that for the entire weekend. Online is orgasmic.

Get Crackdown man, you`ll end up hissing at the mear mention of Gears of War eventually, Crackdown won't get boring for the longest time, these opinions are all facts... ( ) but seriously get Crackdown without a doubt...I've played both and Crackdown is a masterpiece of a game that will give you months of fun due to its online...

Plus both my friends rather Crackdown than Gears any day...they own both games...

Okay, I've got no idea what game I'm going to get, but I might get one tomorrow, hopefully, if not, it shouldn't be too long before I get one...

I didn't get it tonight, but I've got the PSP all set up to trade into gamespot, they said they'd give me $120 if my cousin, aunt, grandpa, or grandma took it in(military bonus) They were all busy today, but they've got some free time tomorrow.

I'm getting it tomorrow.

Also, if anyone's got an extra O button, could I get it from you? I'd be willing to pay a little bit, but I'm BROKE...
