For the love of God. I was simply stating that because he has a PS3, and only a PS3, he would take the PS3's side. Would you not think it was odd if he said "Oh, yeah, you're right, PS3 sucks!"

Not really, if the PS3 sucked and he got a PS3, and realized that it sucked, he'd say it sucked, even if he had never played a 360... Didn't mean to get you so hot a bothered...

It's natural to say that a console is the best if you have one because you want to justify to yourself that it was worth buying.
I'm the same with the Wii, OK so I know I would have liked a 360 more, but the same with PS3. But i'm happy with my Wii for now. Now that some people have both, they can cast their own proper opinion on which console they think is better......So far I can see everyone swaying towards the 360. OK it has been out longer and has a vast software library these days, this is a great advantage to Microsoft and who knows maybe by this time the PS3 will have the software to support it (though there wont be many exclusives) and sales may rise, but I think the price is just too silly for the average gamer (mostly still in school) who just cant afford the console or games on their own.

The show I watched was a series of ten videos on the E3 covering the whole of the ms show.... the figures alone (as stated in the original posting) are so impressive that they would sway me to buy the 360 over the ps3 straight away.
The millions of people buying the 360 would also make me think that the most popular system would have the best support too. The video marketplace having more movies etc then ANY other television pay-to-view cable operator in the world also makes me stop and think. The outselling..... Tell you what.... why not go look at them again and see if you can take them in. As for slagging the band... they were a teenage band and were bloody good too. The Halo theme was in strong because IT IS/WAS THE BIGGEST SELLING GAME IN HISTORY and therefore will be played up big.... even if you dislike the games you have to be impressed by that somewhat. If you would have watched all the video's you would have seen some awesome demo's of games releases THIS year.... COD4 was great... it was not all about HALO... infact that was only a tenth of the show (if that). As for your hype comment on the 360 being so far ahead of the ps3... have you seen LIVE on the 360???? STOP using the fact that the 360 came out before the ps3 so the figures would be better.... the ps3 is out and is established and is selling crap compared to the 360 and Wii... because it is overpriced and compared to what the 360 IS doing and WILL be doing it is a less complete package.... and before you start (or others) going on about this and that... just ask yourself can the ps3 connect into your PC???? does media centre happen on the ps3??? the future of home entertainment is TV, Computer and consol merged as one connected package and that is the 360's biggest ace up it's sleeve. The all round package for the 360 and the upcoming features and the exclusive title releases and the exclusive software houses support etc makes the 360 stand out head and toe above the competition... but you know what that is my opinion... and your welcome to yours (no matter how misguided it is :wink: ). My opinion is based on facts and figures and feel good factor... not fanboyism 8) Again I suggest you download ALL ten vids and watch the figures etc... perhaps you wiull learn a thing or two. Des :roll:

As for bashing the ps3... most of the snipes are aimed at the brainless Sony Fanboys that are so stupid and blinkered it's downright pathetic. The ps3 is a good system but I believe the 360 is a better all round option... have a look at the titles on the 360 and there is a nice spread of them not just FPS games... but I see where your comment is coming from on that one. You can get therapy you know :wink: Des :roll:
