Default HALO 3 BETA

Ok gents tomorrow Wednesday the 16th (tomorrow) is the big day.... I am guessing that the down time is going to be SLOOOOWWWWWW due to the demand.
Luckily the 360 now has a download facility that works after you have turned the unit off.... what you can do is cue up lots of downloads and power the 360 off... it then shuts down everything that it does not need and completes the download before it shuts down completely... This option is in the Systems blade.

Are you already registered for the beta? In my opinion, Gears of War is better than Halo 2 was.

If you bought the correct Crackdown game then you are ready to download the BETA.

Agreed about GOW... not really been a big fan of HALO except that on my last visit to the UK my son (ten years old) and I started and completed the co-op game and that got me interested init.

Am looking forward to trying out the new beta.

As I understood it, you had to register AND have a copy of the original Crackdown. Your way, however, does sound like it makes sense.

My friend and I played Gears the entire weekend, and it was an absolute BLAST. We played a lot of 2v2 games (me and him versus two other people) and our gameplan was perfect. I'd rush the team while he ran for the sniper. I would make first contact, chainsaw the first person, dive back, and my friend would snipe the other in the face as he chased after me.

I would counter you. Here is the plan...

Both stay together, rush you when you come along. Take cover, work your way back, snipe your friend, by then you should be well in reach of a well thrown grenade.

Anyways, back to Halo 3, i will be downloading, but unless its something special then i wont be keeping it long.

If you both rushed me theres about a 100% chance I would chainsaw/shotgun atleast one of you.

If you had a friend who had the original version of Crackdown, and than he downloaded the Halo 3 demo, than you borrow his game, could you download the demo?

I know someone who has the original Crackdown, I might ask him to borrow it when I get a 360.

Sadly, no, but hey Microsoft is against sharing...

You can download it on the next 360 you get if you use the same gamertag...
