Look at this!

Depending on the price i am very tempted in getting it. Will be excellent with the messenger update the 360 had recently.

What do you guys think?

I think this is a worthless addition which will make the controller bigger and heavier. If you really need to type something, using a regular USB keyboard is a lot easier. And if you want to talk quickly, you might as well just use the voice com.

I think it's kinda ugly, but I bet it would help sometimes, personally, I'd just get a headset.

Also, dang Kev, I just noticed your gamer score on Xbox live is/was 5950. You must play online a LOT!

Lol, thanks bamhm, i do play online alot, its real fun. Though my gamerscore is pretty average i would say. Des has 7000 something i think.

But he has lots of games, so its cheating :lol:

CHEATING!!!!! how can you say that??? you cheeky git. And anyway it is over 9000 if you don't mind :wink:

I saw the controller on the 360 update video on live... I quite like it.... far better than having to use the normal on screen keyboard.

I hate having to use that onscreen thing for putting in codes etc for the points cards and as for using a full size keyboard... I don't want one of them cluttering up my den... do behave.

Gamerscore means nothing anyways, i think someone with 5000 points and only 5 games is a much better gamer than someone with 10,000 points with 20 games (cough DES cough)

As for the keyboard, im not decided yet, i mean i have my usb one just sitting under my TV so when i need it (rarely) i just pull it out and away i go.

Are the gamer points like Post counts? I thought that you got stuff for the more points you got or something, like for every 500 points, you get a new demo/content pack/something...

You get gamer points by completing achievements.

But they don't unlock anything? That'd be cool if they unlocked stuff. It'd encourage more people to use Xbox Live IMO.

No you do things like, "kill 100 people online with a sniper riffle" and you get an achievement, which are worth from 10 upto 200 (that i have seen)

Anyways, they mean nothing, its just i like to get them because thats when the game is complete. Not just when i finish the campaign.
