Ok, my xbox 360 is coming up with the disk unreadable message, it only does it with my rainbow 6 vegas game. Now i looked at the disk and it has like 4-5 slight scratches where my mate borrowed it.
I have got a disk cleaner and have done it a few times now so i cant see it being the disk, i have also got a lense cleaner which i have done about 5 times now, so its not the lens. I heard that this message comes up when the 360 overloads or something, maybe its all balls but i dont know. Anyways, anyone else got this problem and what have you done, and what do you suggest i do? Kev 8) |

That's what I'd do. Unplug everything and let it sit for hours. DO NOT put it in the fridge/freezer. This causes condensation. If that doesn't work, buy the game again and take the broken one back and get your cash whilst you have a new one.

First I'd check the game in another 360 just to make sure its not the hardware. I doubt it but it never hurts to check.
If it still doesn't work then just go with Constantine's idea or get your friend that borrowed it to buy a new copy. Quote:

Im taking it round a mates to try it on his one, as it does it at the same point each time, end of the first level. So if it dosent do it there then im calling microsoftt again, first time they said take the hard drive out and play without it. So they must have had problems with the hardware itself causing this message.
