Whenever I go to a gamestore where this game is available to play, it's ALWAYS being played. It does look pretty fun though, I'll probably get it eventually.

If I didn't have to worry about registering my truck and getting insurance, I would already have it...I am absolutely in love with the PS2 version and I love the wireless white guitar. I'm stuck on Freebird still on Expert FYI.

(Sometimes people call it a vibrato bar...that's probably what he meant)

Guitar Hero FTW. IMO this may be the best game ever made (I'm sure many of you that have played it will back me up on this).

My wife and I play this game at least 2 or 3 times a week for a couple of hours at a time, and it never gets old (wish there were some more songs though, they're wearing a little thin).

Also, why does it cost so much ($128cd) in Canada. It's only around $70 or $80 USD here (with a guitar) depending on where you get it.

We're talking about the XBOX360 version here. The PS2 version is only $70 but the XBOX version is around $110 here.

Also, I heard that they will have a bunch of extra songs to download whenever on XBOX Live... 8)

With tax around $130 Canadian.

New downloadable songs already on the Xbox live for 500 points a pack of songs. Three packs so far.
One mag said that all of the old songs will be converted and downloadable for the 360 as well.

It is VERY addictive and have now started on the Medium level... man I find it awkward but I am getting better each time I play it.

Kev, Glad that your not a pot marked pimply youth... even though this is down to your acne cream

I wonder why it's so much more for the 360. It's essentially the same game. :? :? :?

Also, 500 points for 3 songs works out to a little more than $2.00 per song according to a blog I read. That's ridiculous, if you download all 48 songs from part 1, it'll cost around $100.

I guess Bill Gates didnt' get rich by giving stuff away though.

Not been able to play the Guitar for a few days due to a rather unfortunate accident that has left my left forefinger with no finger nail at all and VERY sensitive... but last night the girlfriend decided she wanted to play.... man I donm't know what is more fun... playing it yourself or watching someone else play it.

Next month we are off to a get together with a bunch of friends... usually ends up with some form of drunken games such as darts etc but the hosts son has Guitar hero (two guitars also) and it seems as though we are gonna have a jam competition and a threat of dance mat kareoke too??? I am so glad that I will be plastered long before the games start hahahahaha

Update....

Have made a scary discovery..... my little finger does not belong to me  .... tis true I cannot control it without monumental concentration... but this comes at a price... and that is that the remaining three fingers then buggar off and become someone elses not under my control.

I went from every song in the easy section at 5 stars to Medium with the crowd booing me off stage  and this all down to my little pinky not having a direct communications link to my brain..... let me explain... your in the middle of some manic finger button blurr of movementwhen you have a breather and that one blue note (little finger) slowly comes down the screen for you to push..... OK THIS IS IT.... ACTION STATIONS.... ACHTUNG..... ALERT ALERT.... OK LITTLE PINKY PRESS THAT BUTTON NOW!!!!!.... er.. hello little Pinky.... AAAARRRRGGGHHHHHH work damn you work

You get the picture.... well after extensive training and meditation in the local chapter of Tibetan monks (the local pub that is) I have started to master the workings of the little Pinky.... I know have completed the Medium tour and have started to five star out all of the songs in this level..... the most scary thing is that I now have hard and expert levels to take on..... for this I am thinking or turning to genetic science.... perhaps a strain of aggresive Octupus dna injected into my hands would help
