I didn't even read your whole post lol. I just saw that you put what you thought the nation's minimum wage was so I just thought I'd tell you what our minimum wage was here in Indiana.

Under 18 is £3 something then £5 over 18 i think, not sure about over 21.

When i worked in the supermarket at 16 i was being paid £5.50 which is about $10.

there isn't any min. wage for anyone under 18, people are lying to you! There are two different rates for 18+ and 21+ around the £5 mark (£4.25 for 18yo's I think)

and while the UK is a beatifull place IMO, the government makes it a sh1tty place to live because of taxes and a whole load of bullsh!t legislation.

I'd rather live in a hut in the middle of the Andes.

Considering the size of your village, you're pretty close to that huh?

Seriously though, I think everyone hates their own government. Like the old saying goes, the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. :?

lol close enough, you're right, I'm glad I live here, not far from mountains, lakes, forests etc. and not too far from cities.

Half hour to one side of me goes to the middle of nowhere, half hour the other side puts me in the middle of Manchester & Liverpool etc.
