Default The Outfit

Bought this in the bargain bucket the otherday just thought you guys might want some sort of review.

Graphics are good... not next gen but good and it seems most things are destructable.

Your in control of a squad of guys completeing quite linear missions. You ean FU points by killing the Germans and completeing objectives in each mission.
These FU points are used to purchase air drops of different equipment.... such as... machine gun emplacements and artillery pieces as well as vehicles.
Obviously the placem, ent of each piece is of strategic value so just thing before you place machine gun nests etc as they cannot be moved after they have air dropped in.

Only done the first few missions and I am having fun except.... throughout the game you get message boxes updating you on your mission objectives etc.... and that is the problem... the text size is sooooo small it is almost impossible to read unless your sitting onto of the screen.
This is such a pity as it would be a really good game if it were not for this problem.

Has anyone else got this and experienced the same problem?

Yeah they never eradicated that problem, its a pian in the arse to read the text. I must buy a HDTV, seen a 27" one for £350, not too bad.

Got to pay for car insurance, rent, new floor in bedroom, bike insurance, bike tax, bike parts....... The list goes on.

Why would they exclude customers by making the text only readable on an HDTV?

I am not sure that this is meant for HDTV.... my tv is big and very clear but the text is REALLY small... not sure that a 52" HD PLasma would bloody help.

I gave it another go and have decided that this game is of no use unless your sitting two inces from the set

It would be a damn lot easier to read if it was HDTV though.

Just completed Outfit... actually it is quite a good game... nothing special for a 360 game but none the less fun and enjoyable to play.

Justed moved the sofa a little nearer the screen while I played it

Tried to play multiplayer only to be greeted with an electronic version of tumble weed rolling across my screen  Looks like I AM the only person in the world playing it

If you see this title in a bargain bucket for a few dollars... buy it as it is worth it in the end.
