Default Games that will save the Xbox 360...

Does anyone know of any big-name games coming out? Other than the given Halo 3, what else does the 360 have going for it? The PS3 and 360 obviously started out differently, with the 360 going fast and PS3 not coming out of the gate so quickly game-wise. But now that the PS3 is starting to really roll with games, do you think the 360 will be able to keep up its pace?

I've just been reading more and more articles saying how the PS3 is going to start to skyrocket while the 360 isnt going to be doing that so much.

Well, in the February issue of PSM, they had a list of the top 5 anticipated 360 and PS3 games.

For the 360:

5. Blue Dragon; looks like a great rpg from Square-Enix
4. Mass Effect; some sort of action/rpg
3. Forza Motorsport 2; competitor to Gran Turismo 5
2. Fable 2; I heard the first one wasn't too bad
1. Halo 3; the reason I want a 360

For the PS3:

5. Heavenly Sword; no idea what this is
4. Gran Turismo 5; I imagine this will be better than Forza 2
3. Devil May Cry 4; seeing Dante with improved graphics and moves should be cool
2. Metal Gear Solid 4; we all know this'll be a hit
1. Final Fantasy XIII; this'll be an even bigger hit lol

I think the PS3 has a little bit of an edge. The 360 will still do fine, though. Only time will tell.

And I've never once seen a post by a guest before lol.

PS3 starting to skyrocket? The PSP sold more than it did this week, which is ridiculous. As for 360 games, get Gears of War. Duh.

Hahahaha funny thing is that the PS3 will murder the 360 in the next 2-3 years...the 10GB's just will not work for the 360...plus more factors come into play...

You are forgeting the dual layer disks, plus the extra compression that can be made, which at the moment isnt used as its not needed.

The PS3 will surely have some good games, and hell alot of them will be better than the 360 ones.

Im not bothered anyways as i will be getting a PS3 when the price goes down, or a few (ok alot) of games are included. But i refuse to pay £450 for a console alone.

I will purchase a HDTV before a PS3, so i can enjoy the 360 to its full.

the ps2 is outselling the ps3 in japan ATM, probably because it is a stupid price for a games console.

PS3 games will sound better than 360 games as most of them already have a reputation of being good games from a series.

PS3 are loosing alot of there "SONY ONLY" games, sure 360 owners may still have to wait a little longer, but i consider that wait if worth the saving of £450.
