thats one of the points my mates were arguing, about the Sony exclusive games, they're only sony exclusive because the PS1 had them when the x-box didn't even exist. as soon as GT has made the transition to the 360, I'm sold!

I really don't see that happening. Sony knows that if they lose their biggest sellers, then they're screwed (MGS, FF, & GT). Who knows, maybe they will (though I doubt it); but if that's the case, then Sony won't stand a chance against Microsoft.

yeah not quite sure how i managed the guest thing. does the forum log you out after a certain amount of time? i left the screen up where i was typing the thread for a few hours..

anyway, i cant wait for crackdown to come out. partly because the demo was loads of fun and im anxious to see the Halo 3 demo.

well i got the demo from the xbox live marketplace thing and the halo 3 comes with crackdown the acutal game

I believe that BOTH systems will co-exist and each will have titles that the other will want.... in my opinion the ps3 is no where near as slick as the 360 but that will come in time.

The 360has been well thought out and when the bigger HD come out it will be superb. The blue ray and HD-DVD is interesting to watch and I wonder which will be adopted as the industry norm... if HDDVD is then I am guessing the inbuilt bluray disk thing in the ps3 is screwed big time... sort of like the vhs and betamax saga many years ago.

Anyway.... as I was saying.... both systems have benefits over the other and I am getting a trifle niggled at the 'mine is better than yours' childish antics.

Play and use what you have and be done with it 8)

To quote that statement about the Bluray and HD-DVD part, as of right now Bluray is out selling HD-DVD but a 3:1 ratio...but its a bit early to argue upon this as well as the 360 vs. PS3 subject... :roll:

What is selling now means nothing.... the big picture over time is what we need.... based on what is selling now... the PS# is **** as the PS3 outsold it and the 360 over the Christmas period!!!! figures can be looked at in many different ways to tell many different stories....

I can remember when Betamax was the tops... we had a Sony C5 and C7 betamax recorders that were so much better than the Sharp vhs recorders out and about at the time... my old man spent a fortune on the C7 only for the betamax standard to be dropped within a year.
It all depends on component costs and reliability balanced with markety placed perceptions.

We shall see.
