Default what game is better?

fifa 07

Easy to use, difficult to master – this is the season for the evolution of the world’s greatest sport for gamers everywhere.

The players in FIFA 07 now include 'football brains' never before seen in a video game – and we've given them a brand new ball to play with. For the first time ever the ball is alive with its own independent physics, resulting in truly unpredictable gameplay.

FIFA 07 on the Xbox 360 system moves away from the traditional animation-based game engine and now enables raw physics and data to drive the action, creating true-to-life movement and stunning visuals never before seen in a football game. Player characteristics are based on brand-new traits and twice the number of attributes, so you won't see two players moving in exactly the same way. Instead they look and behave like the athletes we see gracing the pitch week-in, week-out.

This vast wealth of data gives you the power to make real tactical decisions when managing your players. Track your player performance and scrutinise every event via a wealth of stats to aid your half-time decision making. Up to now you've substituted players because they've run out of gas – in FIFA 07 you’ll be able to measure their performance on the pitch before deciding whether to haul them off or give them time to prove their worth.

FIFA 07 on Xbox 360 also includes comprehensive online features that keep you up to date with the world of football. Choose your favourite club and get the latest information, including results and breaking news as it happens.

The Pro Evolution Soccer series is renowned for its realism, and Pro Evolution Soccer 6 is abundant with new gameplay additions. Player AI has been massively upgraded, with players running intelligently into space when not in possession of the ball and pointing where they want the pass placed to continue the attack. Similarly, the physical side of play has been refined, with players working to turn a defender as they receive the ball, while defenders must learn to stand off slightly to prevent such moves.

Series creator Shingo 'Seabass' Takatsuka has also worked to refine the shooting system of the new game, and players will be able to attempt more snap shots than in previous versions, while volleys and half-volleys have been redesigned. Other new moves include the ability to retain control of the ball when sliding in to tackle, while all-new feints and backwards dribbling are now available thanks to the improved dribbling controls, while headers have been changed to allow players more movement in the way their strikers jump and head the ball.

Other new additions include more balanced referees, and a selection of exciting new gameplay modes. An International Challenge involves leading your home country to victory through a series of entry and tournament rounds, while a Random mode lets the player play quick games within randomly-generated match day settings. The much-loved Master League also returns, allowing players to experience the many highs and lows of steering a team through years of competitive games. Aging players, injuries and pressure from the board all combine to create a truly immersive game where results are everything.

With its slick moves and realistic action, Pro Evolution Soccer 6 enjoys an impressive roster of new moves, licensed clubs, and gameplay modes.

pes6, has just (and i mean just) got the edge because the gameplay is faster. if fifa 07, was as quick then it would be better. unfortunatly fifa consentrates too much on realism and not enough on gameplay, maybe the ps3 has got the power to handle both physics and at a more playable speed.

DISCLAIMER: That is my opinion and in no way should be considered fact. Fifa 07 is still a really good game.

What, you wrote the descriptions above? Thats amazing. I say amazing because they match, word for word, the official blurb on each game. Check out Amazon to see what I mean.

Cheers for the cover

I played that part yesterday so knew what to do - it just seemed easier. We need to get Des in - he would be the expert!

You up for another go later?

You on msn or Yahoo mail? Would be easier to use that for instant game chat as I don't have headset.
