Default 50Hz and 60Hz issue. ARGHH!!! HELP ME!!!

Ok, I have a 50Hz TV and as I understand, games like GoW requires 60Hz to play. What can i do to solve this problem. I know 60Hz games still play but I heard things like sound jumps etc occur. So what can I do to solve this problem other than....(By the way I can imagine Ryder saying this) "Buy a 60Hz TV"

Is there a lead or something I can buy?

Thanks!

Most PAL games will have an option to run in either 50Hz (Native PAL frequency) or 60Hz (Native NTSC frequency) for those TV's that can take it.
If you buy a PAL copy of Gears of War and you have a PAL Xbox360 then you should have no trouble running it. If you were to buy an NTSC copy then you may experience problems.

BTW Chances are your TV may support 60Hz aswell anyway. One of the TVs in my house is quite old (8 years+) and it supports 50 and 60Hz

if you know about GHZ, MHZ then you know about HZ, it means Hertz and is just a frequency that the TV operates on, and also how frequent a processor can "process" something (if its 2 gigahertz, then it means 2,000,000 times a second, i think) 60HZ would be 60 times a second

I payed some attention in physics lessons!

Yes it is the refresh rate of a TV screen.

50 times a second, or 60 times a second.

Obviously 60Hz is better, just set your 360 in the display settings menu to 50hz, it will play the game in 50Hz, it has nothing to do with the sound.

Oh thats good news! Thanks a lot Cabe!

I looked on the back and it says ''50Hz'' and thats it. So it could run 60H couldn't it?

Certain games will. The ones that are compatable will ask you to select 50 or 60hz when starting up
