Default Standing up or on its side?

Hello all you 360 owners!

Right so after hearing so many stories of your game disc getting really f**ked up if you move your console while its on. And hearing ''3 red light'' stories if your 360 gets overheated etc. I want to know if your 360 is standing up or if its on its side, plus if you have had any problems.

Thanks!

Nope just stand it upright and not at any weird angle.

Forget the over heating thing as well... early mnachines did have an issue but the percentage of those compared to the amount that were launched were minimal.

To help eliminate the noise I have mine standing on it's side on a small rubber mat... this helps absorb some of the sound.... yep the 360 sure does make a noise but when your playing you cannot hear that anyway.

NEVER move the unit while it has a disk spinning as this does cause problems.... my GUN disk has a scoce init where I made a mistake of moving the unit while it was spinning the disk at the speed of sound or some such thing hehehehehe

Hope this helps.

Thanks Juggler, that helps a lot

3 Red Lights = Your 360 is dead

Although people have said that their console has frozen and that they have seen the red lights. They just turned it off and it worked again.

I have mine flat on its side, because i dont have a proper table for it, plus it cant go under my TV because the WiFi signal is shocking, so has to be up high, (no not eye level high) just not on the floor high.

Never had any problems.

The xbox 360 makes more noise than the buses runnung past my house.

The noise won't bother me much, just an excuse to turn the volume up

I've heard the 360 resembles lawn mowers and jet engines...is this true???
