In Your opinions what is better. The XBOX 360 or the PS3?
I am currently slightly more tempted to go for the 360 as it has more games and is cheaper. Just tell me what ye think ![]()

When you put it in terms of value, id go for the 360. But you must remember the £40 a year LIVE costs on top of that.
My theory is, if you can only get one, get the 360, if you can afford both, get both. Only thing is, whe buying a game you think do you want to play over LIVE or PSN. GTA. Play with Bamhm or Ryder? Hmmmm lol Kev ![]() |

Yeah that was the downside. the £40 a year. I honestly would not mind paying that as long as the online was actually good. If anyone has both then can ye tell me which is better in terms of online and anything else which may help me choose as it were.
![]() (kev do ye honesly think i would be able to afford both?) hehe

Most people know that LIVE has the advantage over PSN as its been around longer, although PSN is catching up very quickly and if not on par with LIVE. Its just friends on LIVE with a PS3 aswell say that they notice more "lag", however they are probably fanboys. I cant say anything myself as i havent played online on a PS3.
The HOME thing thats coming to PSN looks sweet though. Although this wont affect the online gameplay. Kev ![]() |

I'd say it depends what games you wanna play.
360 is cheaper by a little bit and with Blu-ray being the next gen formay choice i'd say PS3. You say 360 has more games but which has more AAA titles? You have also got to consider the quality of the consoles. Do you want the RROD on your 360 because you have the sytem on for to long? Or the 360 to suddenly be scratching all your discs? Anyways these are my points for getting a PS3 so if someone will do the opposite psplayer will get a better idea. Last edited by Monkey Business : 04-30-2008 at 05:11 PM. |

I still need to save up for whatever i am going to get and many other thing's so i could be waiting a while. By then the prices may have changed so my choice oculd possibly be swayed.

MB has valid points there, however the RROD is covered for 3 years. psplayer, if you are not a follower of any specific game series then game titles available is irrelevant as each have a great mix.
You simply asked which is better value, and so i made my decision on the gameplay quality vs the price. And i think the proce is a greateer difference than the gameplay so i choose 360. However im getting a PS3 someday, so whichever you get il play you. Kev ![]() |
