Currently I have in excess of over $260,000 to play with.... but have all the good guns and full ammo not sure why I need this much cash.... all islands now open.... Bank robbery mission was hard.... and so is the one I am trying to do now.... not only hoodlums to deal with but thousands (or it seems) shot gun toting Police.
Great game with so much detail... suggest you all turn the phone off and go free mode and walk the streets and allyways (reminds me of a song that does) just to see the incredible detail.... so much infact most of it you would never see without going for a walk... found a guy busking on a street corner.... and I was able to give him money for his trouble too. Have you taken a firetruck for a spin yet???? you can hose down the people in the street with the tenders roof mounted water cannon.... awesome. Get used to flying the helicopters about to the extent that you can land on just about anything.... stuff that without a helicopter you could never get too... and guess what... still the detail is amazing. Was in Vancouver on Saturday with the missus in the truck stuck in traffic and I must admit I was thinking that if this was my game I would mount the sidewalk mow down those few peds and take out that street lighting pole then stove in that car and be on my way..... AAARRRGGGHHHHHH...... gibber gibber!!!!! too much time playing the game..... ![]() ![]() Des ![]() |

I haven't been playing too much of the single player, but I have played lots of online. I absolutely love Cops 'n Crooks and Bomb the Base II. I've already been to the 10th rank twice, but it reset both times.
![]() When I am in single player, one thing I love to do is watch the TV. Don't ask me why, but those shows are very entertaining to me. The one that's like the History Channel that gives a parodic history of Liberty City that's almost like the real history of New York is awesome. This has to be the deepest game I've played ever besides maybe San Andreas, but that was just because of sheer size, this one feels deeper because the level of detail like you said Des. |

BTW the music Cd is cool too... all the different styles of music in the game are accounted for..... if you can get it do so. Des |

I was gonna get the SE, but I didn't really think it was worth the extra money, but then I heard the in game music, and now I wish I would have.
I should have known better, GTA always has great music. Oh well, now I know better for next time. |
