well here as long as i have a no trespassing or posted sign up i can shoot first and ask questions later or so thats what the sheriff told me the last time someone tried to break in.

We've got a make my day law here(I think) Where if they're in your house, you can kill them, but not if they're outside. Even if they're on your stoop or stealing your car, you can't rightfully shoot them.

Law here sucks. Once, my dad had his car stolen, than he saw it on the highway(he was 100% sure it was his because it had camo ducktape on the doors, just like ours did) so he called the cops while following it, they were like "Well, the best thing you can do is go home and file a police report" My dad had told them that he already did that, and they pretty much told him he was S.O.L. and they weren't going to help him.

And than you would have ended up in jail.

My dad did ram the hell out of it though, but it still managed to make it to California where it was impounded.
