People Getting Banned

Anybody here have a modded X-Box 360 or have been banned from Xbox Live? I know a few people who have been banned for having a modded X-Box after this is their 3nd aves of the banned. Also some people have been unbanned who still have modded X-Boxs and people who don't are also getting banned. This basically allows you to be able to play burned games like you would a burned CD or DVD. I had a modded X-Box but like 5 days before they started banning people I got the 3 red lights of death so I had to send it in, so I may have been saved.

Man, Microsoft just has a good way of making things inconvenient. This reminds me of their Windows Authentication deal they had a little while back with SP2. It took me forever to download that because it kept coming up that I had a pirated version of XP.

Hey, what do you expect, if they weren't doing this, then game companies would have been going out of business. I believe the makers deserve to get paid for their work.

Not complaining, everybody knew it would come. But some people still have modded X-Box have haven't gotten banned and some who don't have gotten banned. I just wanted to see if anybody here gotten banned. But it's with anything else that you basically do with systems and consoles that are modded.

I haven't been banned, but some older xboxes are getting banned because they're sending weird information to Microsoft because their lenses are dying, I might be on that later list because my 360 is old... I SERIOUSLY hope that I'm not though, even though I could get unbanned, I'd have to call Microsoft and speak to Barrack, the Indonesian man who needed a part time job.

I'm like od, I'd rather pay for games than risk getting banned. I make my judgments based on what I get and what could happen, imo, modding the 360 isn't worth it.

I think its a great thing, i mean, i wont lie, if i could get my game for nothing then i would, but i have no problem with being forced to buy what i want.

As time goes on, priated games will be phased out from the increasing amount of internet users making it near on impossible to hide the fact that your console is modded.

Which is a good thing seeing as im gonna be a games programmer.

Wait, are you the one who maxed out the RS account? If so no big, but try not to completely max it out again.

Also, I can't do it because I don't have the right tools, but if I modded my 360, than didn't connect, just played offline, but than I downloaded all of the 2k6 games, than unmodded(is that even possible?) than hooked back up to the internet, I'd be able to keep my gamerscore and not be banned, right?

Like I said at the top, I can't do it, just a completely hypothetical question.
