Downgrading - Upgrading - Unbricking

3000 is possible to downgrade, but it hasnt been done yet.

It has been able to run in HEN, i believe thats on firmware 5.0x and works on both 2000 and 3000 models.

Wont be long and we shall see a downgrader come out.

I need to upgrade from 3.71 stage by stage. Where can I get each update from?

upgrading, that depends if you have custom or official sony firmware. There are two different methods

Or to any firmware which will allow my psp to be compatible with homebrew and still play all my psp games.
I've been browsing forums for the past few days and been trying to understand this but i'm struggling a fair bit to be honest.

Could anyone give me a simple guide to how this is done please?

I have been having some trouble upgrading to cfw 3.71 m33.

I successfully downgraded from ofw 2.71 to 1.5 then to cfw 3.52 m33. That was simple enough.

When I try upgrading to cfw 3.71 m33 it says I need cfw 3.52 m33-3 or higher. When I check the firmware on my psp it says I'm running 3.52 m33 there is no -2 -3 or -4. Im assuming that I need to upgrade to atleast -3 but I cant find the -2 or -3 uprgrade files.
