By file do you mean the whole game on your memory stick or a gamesave?

    new comer looking for help

hi i have a few quetions on unbricking my 2.80 firmware, so step 1 to 14 is for the 2th PSP that works in my case i'll be using a OE-B,
If i'm making the folder in the root of the memory stick, will it be differt if i'm using an OE-B.
Is there a chance that i'll brick the second PSP if i run "installer" through the firmware on the PSP. (found under game section of your psp).
Execute "battery" application on the PSP to modify the battery (Again, found in the game section)
and how boot my bricked PSP al i get is no display and green led goes on for a while.

    thanks in advance.

Hi not sure if i should post here or a seperate post if its wrong mods can move it for me please.

well i have a slim n lite PSP im in australia if that means anything. its version 3.60, i cannot see if its one of those TA boards or not.

What would i need to do do upgrade or downgrade to get homebrew on it.

is a custom firmware better if so why is it better? where can i get info on why its better n what it does diferent to the Sony one.

sorry if this sounds daft, i have just bought a new battery to create a pandora battery, as awhile back someone updated my firmware to the latest and i cant run certain items on it.

do i actually need TWO psp's to create the battery or just my current one?? once downgraded my firmware to 1.50 what customer firmware should i use???

many many many thanks in advance

You need another psp that has homebrew capabilities, if yours has then it can be downgraded/upgraded without the need of a pandora battery.

Unfortunately, you can use the original one you had, you dont need a spare battery as there are hombrew apps that convert them back again.

You should have bought a premade one from ebay, or find a friend who has a homebrew capable psp.

I have heard rumors that a battery can be created using a pc, but i havent seen this from a reliable source so believe it to be just a rumour and no more.

awww. so the only way to downgrade/upgrade psp slim & lite is thru pandora's battery... thats really great.... and i thought slim is nicer than the fat one..

so is there gonna be any downgrader that doesnt require pandora's battery then?

    cheers!
