Is it in the .rar format? If so, google and install Winrar, that'll unzip it, if it's in .zip, I don't know what's wrong with it...

hmn, I've got homework that REALLY needs to be done, but once I'm done with that, or maybe tomorrow I'll put together a pack for you like I did with the OE. BTW, why'd you go from an OE back to 2.81?

The installer files needed to downgrade are PBP, like eboot.pbp and update.pbp.

Unless im mistaken, you dont need to unpack those.

Oo, my OE is doing great. Thanks so much for that help. This is one of my friends im doing for him.

And Kev, but you say I need to unzip it, I can not do that though if my Compy does not reconize PBP. Right? Thanks.

Hey, new problrking on a 2.80 too, I installed that HEN thing and put the files into the memory card. Well, I open the HEN picture folder and then the psp freezes and than turns off. What did I do wrong?

Edit: NVM!! Lol, for some reason after about 20 trys of this it worked. Yah.

Ok what i think has happened here is...

You downloaded the filed which should have come in a RAR folder, somehow the contents of that folder had been extracted already.

So when you read instruntions to unpack, i think you got mistaken with the RAR and PBP files. You need to extract the PBP files from the RAR folder, this is what i think has happened anyways.

As for the PC not recognizing the PBP files, it wont recognize them so dont worry about that.

Next im guessing you put the files in the right places as you said the HEN appeared.

Also, you wasnt doing anything wrong, it took 20+ times because the exploit is very unreliable, and as you have experienced, dosent work first time.

Anyways, hope the whole downgrading goes well

Im talking about 2 psps, one has 2.81, the other had 2.80(now 3.40 OE-A). The one for 2.81s 3.50 update still is comming up has a PBP making it imposible to unzip it.

Now, all of a sudden, on the 3.40 oe-a psp, I put on a game, then launch it(It has the little icon/music/etc)and it starts up, then goes back to the main menu and says: The game could not be played(80020321). What do I do?
