How to fix a (DRNFFFFFFD7) error...
The DRNFFFFFFD7 error code is a message you get on a psp with a TA-082 motherboard. It signals that official firmware past 1.5 cannot be installed. It's a hard one to fix if you don't know what the error code means. It's never been listed anywhere on the net. It usually happens after a downgrade to 1.5
There has been a patch issued but it only works if your on 1.5
Unfortunately I had used pandora to install OFW and didn't realise but did find a work around.
Here's where you can get the patch from-
update error DRNffffffd7 - Sony PSP Mod & PSP Hacks Forums
Here's the link to the 4.01m33-2 installer pack
4.01 M33-2 Installer Pack.zip - PSP,, Firmware,, Custom, Firmware,, 4.01, M33,, 4.01, M33-2,, 1.50, Kernel, Add-on
Here's the work around if your getting the error message on any other firmware other then 1.5
Use pandora and magic memory stick to upgrade to 3.80m33-5 then download the 4.01m33-2 installer.
Copy the UPDATE folder from step A to the GAME folder on your psp memory stick.
Start the update you will now get a message something similar too. Id sectors in the Ipl have been configured wrongly due to an unsuccessful downgrade. Do you want to correct the Ipl. Press 'X' to correct
Once you have corrected the bad Ipl sectors you can press 'R' to cancel the CFW update.
Now use pandora and magic memory stick to install back to official firmware.
I installed official 3.80 update then went straight to 6.20.
Quite a simple fix if you follow those steps.
Hope you find this post useful

Theres a couple of POPS error codes that I never found the meaning of. I kinda gave up and was reluctant to post for a solution... sigh
