Thread: [TUTORIAL] Make a Pandora Battery and Stick with no CFW PSP

  1. #41

Yeah, unfortunatly it is the battery i think that sony got smart on and didnt include the chip that uses that pin.......here are someone elses pics.......

I now have a battery that works but falls apart...need some tape or glue. Gonna buy a original sony battery tonight for £10, got the number 256-42345-453-3 or something like that....its not the CGA one anyway thank god

Is that a genuine Sony battery?

Never seen a Sony one like that before.

Perhaps they have got smart and are trying to stop us modifying the PSP's!!!!

You can stick them back toghether using silicone adhesive, you know like what is used to seal the bath to the wall. It works a treat, just remember to use black not white and trim the bits that ooze out of the sides once dry. I use a razor blade to trim or a scalpel.

Ohh! Keep the silicone away from the small pin connectors at the top of the battery. If it gets in them it is a pain to get rid of.

Ok so i made a pandora, made a magic mem, and nothing seems to be happening. When i put the battery in, The psp green light comes on automatically, but there is no backlight that you guys have been talking about....im guessing if i broke the battery, it would not show the green light right?

From what you are saying it sounds like the battery has been converted ok but the memory stick is not being read.

What method did you use to make the magic stick?

Try this method, it works really well and is easy to do.

    YouTube - Install Pandora's Battery Without 1.50orCFW (SLIM+FAT PSP)

If you have any further questions don't hesitate to ask.

PS. Using the above link will take your PSP straight to 3.80 M33 - 5. All you do then is a network update to get on 3.90 M33 - 2.

I added a little big at the beginning to show an easier/safer/quicker way to make the battery, this way doesn't always work though, where as your way does, so I left your up.

I learned this from a guy on QJ that posted in a thread I made when my PSP battery suddenly broke itself, he suggested that I short the - and +, so that worked, than I messed around with it a little bit and found out that the middle and + pin makes a pandora's battery.
