Gamestop and EB games here in the U.S. are gonna drop the price of the Core Pack to $169.99 tomorrow. Here's a link from kotaku.com:

Wow, you can get a brand new PSP for $10 more than a used one. :shock:

It's only for the U.S. for some reason though.

I can't beleive the price has only dropped $80 since I got mine like two years ago... :shock:

No, it only dropped $30. It's the core pack, which was $200.

Ironically, the best bang for your buck pack has never dropped a dollar. They've just removed stuff to lower the price.

This price will drop a lot more. When the PSP slim comes out, it will have 8 gigs of memory, and a better battery life, and according to sony reps they will keep it for under $170. If that would happen, it means the original PSP should be around $100 by then.
