I don't have a PSP Purchasing problem   (I have a PSP breaking problem) It's okay though, cuz somehow I always don't have to go without a PSP for long, Christmas, Birthday, leftover money, warranty, etc. And the only reason my last one broke is because I was trying to downgrade it without reading the instructions. My next PSP will last FOREVER! lol Because this time, I'm going to take super extra good care of it, I've got a GREAT case, am getting the best screen protectors in the mail sometime soon, the only way that I'd lose it is if it's stolen from me, and that's not going to happen unless I get mugged, and that doesn't happen to people around here very much. Well, actually, it does, but it's just not going to happen to me because I'm always either with a bunch of friends, or at home.

Hey, if you're going to get your next one from Gamestop, get one of those New Hampshire warranties for 20 bucks. Trust me, they are a life saver. I bricked my psp trying to downgrade, and they gave me a replacement toute suite, no questions asked.

It is a one year warranty, but the catch is that it can only be used one time. So once you brick your PSP, you can replace it immediately at the store, but that ends the warranty. I still think it's a good deal. I mean, you get a quick replacement for 20 bucks, no questions asked. If you brick your PSP twice, you're paying 40 bucks, but that's still better than paying 100 for a replacement from Sony (I don't think Sony has a warranty for the used ones from Gamestop, right). Anyway, it really is worth it. AND you can take it to ANY gamestop. I bought mine in CA and exchanged it in NYC.

Is it coming out in March for Japan? or US release? that's the question...
also..wouldn't they have to still use UMD for games etc? but still include harddrive? Since not everyone can download games/movies off internet. I don't see them not selling games in stores. |

Well, actually, one of 'em was(the downgrader that bricked my last one.) Buit still, if I were sitting at home, reading the Read Me like I should have been, it wouldn't have happened.
Also, I got my PSP back today, I'm PRETTY sure that it's a TA-086, all I know is that the Analog stick can't come off and that there's a little bit of letters to the left that are 1/2 covered be a piece of metal in the UMD drive, but from here it looks like it says "IC6001" or maybe "IC8001" I'm pretty sure that the IC and the 001 part is right. So if anyone knows what mobo I have, could you tell me, I'm guessing that it's a TA-086 because of the 6, but the letters aren't on the right side, they're on the left, so I don't know. |
