Default PS3 and PSP

Though we all speculated..here it is...\

Additionally, PSP owners will be able to use their handheld gaming device as either a controller or an additional screen, perhaps viewing tactical or statistical information that ties in with the game on your television.

Excellent! I can't wait to hear more on how it will be used to give tactical information on games! Working as a controller was speculated by many but I'm really glad its a reality. I wonder if Revolution will do the same with DS? Tomorrow we should know

I'm sure it will. Nintendo started this with the GBA. If you ever played Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles you would have seen this. I was one of the fortunate people with 3 other friends with GBA's so this game was kind of fun. If you entered your menu screen it was displayed on the GBA screen rather then the TV. so I can't wait either!

Hopefully you can also use it at a screen for the PS3. On the PS2 you had to buy an extra screen that attached to the back..maybe with the PS3...you can use the PSP as the screen.

Yes I think that's right. It can either be used as a normal screen (shows the same as the TV), or it can provide additional views. A lot of people are worried about this wireless controller revolution - how often are we gonna have to charge them, does anyone know?

Blue tooth is an energy conserving signal. It doesn't use much power at all and its effective at about 30 feet around corners and all. Its used on alot of cell phones as wireless headphones and its used to network printers and such to computers. So its a proven data transfer. I'd say it will have a longer life and work better then infra red. I'm really looking forward to that technology...maybe not the design of the controller..but bluetooth will be nice.

Yea I figured a full day would be nice...removing the cords is great cuz I'm tired of buying extenders and getting them tangled up.
