Default Possible new exploit!

a few people on the qj.net forums have discovered the libtiff vulnerability. They have managed to crash their psp's using the vulnerability, now most of the time this means an exploit but it could be a false alarm.

for full story go here http://www.digital-pod.com/2006/08/l...-hope-for.html

Read about this yesterday. I wouldn't get too excited as of yet.

I think what he is trying to say is that V3.0 has a higher chance of being cracked due to all the new functionalities (more doors means more holes in the wall).

So he is infact not excited about V3.0 but the possible homebrew and PS3 connectivity.

Thats what i am looking forward to anyway.

As long as there is gonna be a 2.71 downgrader soon I'm happy...   ...but so far its only in my dreams

Oh wait is this possible exploit for 2.70-2.71???

Ohhhh and one more thing: I've crashed my PSP plenty of times...I just switch the PSP into sleep mode while on the internet (transfering data) and when I turn it back on it freezes and then shuts off...opon power-up it makes me go through the whole date and time set-ups and to put in my nick name...what does that mean???

Is it bad??? :? :? :?
