think what you have been saying about the power being restricted in the psp. now its obvious that they will do the exact same thing with the ps3.
 imagine that, i dont know if any of you have seen preveiws for ps3 games, but the graphics is awsome. the ps3 uses the same graphics proccessor as the spiderman 2 film for spidey and the sky scraper scenes. now if that is restricted graphics, then in theory a fully unlocked ps3 could play dvd (real life) quiality graphics and be controlable. :!: |

i knew from launch the capabilities were locked. im just waiting until the psp2 is out and this one is obsolete. once the last firmware has been released and cracked and sony doesnt care, thats when the party starts.

This is really old news. Its been known since days after the PSP came out.
However, I am not sure that it'll reach full 333MHz, maybe 330MHz or a little less. People haev already overclocked the PSP to 333MHz and have had some stability issues. I've done it too, but it worked just fine for me, cept for the reduced battery life. I think, God permitting, that it'll reach 333MHz for games because battery technology will get better. If they get a new battery that lasts 33% longer, they can do it. I have the new 20% extra battery. t lasts me about an hour longer than usual. I can actually sit down and play Socom Online for 3 hours on the battery alone, no ac adapter!
