There has been already, news of a PSP 2, which would probably take into thought all the faults that the original psp has, i.e. the easily scratchable screen.
Sony have released info that the PSP will have the same chip as the PS3!!!!! Reason being, is that the PS3 chip is so small, tht sony has decided on trying to put it into the PSP. This is gonna be great. but i cannot see what they may have with the actual PSP 2 that would be new, apart from the graphics, the screen and glossyness of the PSP. What do you guys think? |

Word on the street is that Sony’s planning to release a version of its PSP that uses an 8 GB Samsung NAND flash. Recent reports do state that negotiations have broken down between the two companies. Moreover, Sony wouldn’t use the NAND flash, but instead would go with a microdrive. Market sources say on the contrary, and that Sony’s going with NAND.
Whether or not Sony will be offering any further tweaks is not yet known. This Japanese article does refer to a “PSP 2,” which could simply be a journo mistake or an inside scoop. 8) |
