Default PSP Japan version vs US version?

I saw those PSP currently selling on Ebay are in Japanese Language OS.

Does anyone know if the language on the PSP can be changed to English?
Or I need to wait until the US version arrived?

Thanks

First batch PSP which you mentioned Japanese version support 2 languages - Japanese & English, you can choose your language at the first time you turn your PSP power on.

Jeez, how many times does this question need to be answered
PSP hardware and games are not region coded - you can play any game bought from anywhere in the world on any PSP bought from anywhere in the world. This combined with the option of the English menu system makes them an importers dream
