I have heard the theoretical maximum for Pro Duo is 8gb so that is where it has to stop. The biggest memory card I have personally seen is 12gb which my auntie (who is a professional photographer) has in her £7000 digital camera

Tha max I've seen was 16 GB. And it was in my uncles digital video camera. I don't know what did he used it to - so much space.
I'm just interested in the prices of these cards. I don't think I'll can afford one. I'll just stay with my 1GB for now.

What types of memory cards are these then? Are they micro-drives? :P

But they had limited 16GB edition(or another type - can't remember). Probably sold out all of them...

There is no probably about it. When the 2gb was first released here in the UK it retailed for nearly £200 - more than a PSP. An 8gb pro duo on release will cost at least £250 (or around $300-$350) and you could buy two PSPs for that if you know the right places to look.
