Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and I am definintely looking forward to picking up my very own WHITE gigapack at the end of the year (I am a guy). I think the firmware was confirmed at 2.01, just so we can't downgrade. But a downgrade for these newer versions is only a matter of when, and not if.

The white PSP shows a lot less fingerprints. The square button problem is erradicated, and the buttons are said to feel much more solid and stable. Also, I have yet to see anyone with a white psp that has had a dead pixel on it.

I went to the shops today (UK), and i asked them about it, they are not selling the white ones in the UK, and they are exactly the same, just different colour and they will be selling them on the 21st of november at £215. This was in Gamestation at romford, Essex, UK.

i personnally think the black ones look better, surely if they improved the white psp for the giga pack then, wouldnt they do the same with the black psp that will also be going in the gigapack. The gigaPack is only going to be around for a short while, and then its back to the value pack.

Fry's Electronics just recently started selling the Gigapack. PSP, 1GB MSPD (Sony), allthe other goodies that come with it, AND a game. All for the lovely price of $299.99 USD. I asked about the white one and they said that they won't have it because it's probably a Japan only promotion.

Too bad I don't think I'll find a sucker to buy my old one for $200... not that I'm not lazy enough to get off my PSP anyway...

I've been looking on the web on the price of the GigaPack and I've come across different prices ranging from $300-$350. Does anyone know what the final price will be?
