Any-one know what format the stream is? I wonder if I can stream some video from my Linux PC

is there no way to simulate the base station on a computer, and run dvd's and videos on the pc? it would be cheaper than buying the base station!

There is MP4 streaming software. It usually costs for the PC version but there are free Linux versions. The problem will be if sony added anything to the basic stream to identify it.

I don't use homebrew so I think I'll update and try it over the weekend

I ordered a Location Free base station from Sony. I'll post a review when I get it.
