Superb!! I have checked a few sites and lots of people confirm it to be working. The only question now is if you want to lose the V2.0 features.
NOTE:- THE TEXT FILE INDICATES THIS COULD BRICK YOUR PSP SO YOU USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Are you asking if it is 100% safe? Then no, probably not. Are you asking if there are hundreds of people out there who have tried it with no problems? Then yes, there are - I have read their comments about it. As to whether you should try it, only you can answer that but let me tell you if I had a V2.0 PSP I would have 1.5 on it and be playing homebrew by now
![]() If you do try it post your results here. I am going to downgrade my friends tomorrow on the train to work and will let you know how it goes.

I've tried this on a french 2.0, and it works like a charm (I was Kinda nervous, nut thought, what the hey...). I had my first taste of Super Mario on my PSP, now the next question of course is, is the a snes emulator that runs the games at full speed?
Amazing, this homebrew stuff, what is the most amazing thing you guys can recommend to try for a HB-newbie? |

Check out the homebrew FAQ - it is a bit out of date but still good. I would personally suggest Castaway - a near perfect Atari ST emulator which I use more than anything else and the Megadrive and Snes emus. The latter two are not perfect (especially if the Snes custom graphics are used - eg Yoshi's Island) but they are getting there.
Check out Here for all the downloads.
