Problem is that even if you do make the psp think it's a 1.0 the security and functions is still the same as a v2.0 wich means homebrew still won't work. It's just so when you run the 1.5-upgrader it will think it's actually doing an upgrade and not an downgrade. Probably the upgrader only reads the version-number when checking if your up to date or not

First of all, the root of the memory stick is where you find the folders PSP and MP_ROOT.

Second, the GBA emulators and questions and stuff all go in the homebrew section. But I'll answer it here. Check google! They are hard to find... But you can find them. Be careful though! If you want GBA roms, you might get spyware and you also have to ... 'wade through pr0n'

No more 'my PSP has downgraded to V1.0!!' posts please. Like I said after the downgrader was first released, your PSP is not a V1.0 - the exploit uses the same method as the Wab Version Changer to make your V2.0 THINK it is a V1.0. If you try to run normal EBOOT.PBP homebrew on it at that point IT WILL NOT WORK. You are lucky in that the 1.5 upgrade only checks the system version off the system settings entry which allows the 1.5 upgrade to work. Something Sony will probably learn off.

Hi from greece. I am planning to visit US AND i WANT TO BUY A PSP BECAUSE IT IS CHEAPER IN USA.
i HAVE SOME questions that I want to share with you.
1)If I have a us psp and try to buy a game from greece, will the game play?
2? you are talking about 1.5 firmware or 2.00! what is this. Does this play any role for the games or for the movies?
Do I have to check it when I will buy a psp what firmware has?

thank god some one cracked it ! i will deffinatly try this if some one can tell me, is there a saga gennesis/megadrive emulator available ? becouse i would LOVE to be able to play streets of rage on my psp, probly more than the games iv bought so far lol (and thats sayin somthin)
