1.5 you can do homebrew, and 2.0 has a little more features and can be downgraded to 1.5. 2.6 cant be downgraded like 2.0. so even if its already 2.0, you can still downgrade if you want. but because i lack interest in homebrew, i always update to the highest version available.

ok ive browsed the forum for ages now couldnt find wat i was looking for, sorry if i missed something. Im a newbee.

i have a psp version 2.5. It came with a demo disc that has a 2.0 firmware. Could i use the disc to downgrade to version 2.0 and then from 2.0 to 1.5???
I read somewhere that i wont be able to if i use the discs firmware, which suggest i can use some other software instead of the disc.
Anyone know if its possible???? im not being optimistic cause if it was that simple then no one needs to develop from that hello message thing using the gta save game.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanx, if i sound like a complete noob then i ask for forgiveness
