Hey guys

I stupidly upgraded my psp to 2.5, anyone know where i can degrade it from that to 2.00? Also, a question...if I get the version 1.5 is it possible to play Japanese games on it? And can someone state the advantages of the 1.5 downgrade.

Help appreciated

GTA WONT WORK?! So could I keep switching memory stick duo's? For example, play GTA one time, then when I feel like playing the homebrew I change memory sticks. Is that possible?

nope. the update is installed to the psp's memory, not the memory stick. The only way to play GTA and homebrew is to have two PSP's, or use the downgrader everytime you want to switch between homebrew and gta(though given time, thats blantly the only way the downgrader will mess up).

Or your can get the Sonyxteam version changer and have the best of both worlds.

Just downgrade, download, and 'change the version'.

that would be perfect if they made a program that ran in 1.5, and all it did was changed the version number the system thought it was running in
