    Thanks

Hey everyone, thank you so much for the compliments... I haven't been on here since the 25th of August, and for good reason...

The exact same day I joined this site and posted the guide I went out riding my motorcycle with a friend. After accelerating to 35-40 mph from a stoplight, a WOMAN on her CELL PHONE, and EATING ran a stop sign and pulled out in front of me. I had roughly ten feet to respond, and needless to say, I didn't get a chance to squeeze the brakes.

She was driving a Honda Element. My helmet smashed a hole in her window, and I bounced off of her vehicle.

I broke the radius and ulna in my left arm into 14 pieces. My left elbow was completely dislocated. I also broke the humerus in my right arm completely in half.

I have screws and steel plates in both arms. I have lost all feeling in my left thumb, index and ring finger. (It's slowly coming back, though...)

I've been told I will probably need several more surgeries just to restore my left elbow back to proper working order. I can't bend it more than about halfway right now.

I fly r.c. helicopters, and I've been playing guitar for 20 years. I can't do either of those things now, and may not for some time. And to make all of this even worse, I couldn't play with my PSP for the first week in the hospital!!!

Typing is decent. I've gotten a lot quicker.

Anyway, I just wanted to let everyone know what happened, and why I only had 1 post here... And thanks to the mods for making this a sticky.

I'm still available live on YIM and AIM most evenings, so if anyone needs help don't hesitate to IM me.

That sucks that people dont pay attention, there so dumb the woman was eating, talking on a cell phone, and driving, not so smart. If I were you I'd sue her, but then again I am not you, sorry to hear about your arm. Your post was very helpful so thanks for it.

I know I keep getting this error called debug or something like that, sorry if I am posting to much.

    Debug?

Yeah, I got the debug error too... And sue her? You bet your sweet ass! I hired the best motorcycle accident lawyer in Virginia. I'm asking for 4.5 million, which means I might end up with 1.5 if I settle out of court with her insurance company...

We'll just wait and see though....
