release date for psp 3000 - PSP-Forum.com

It's a month and despite Sony saying the official release date for psp 3000 was October 17th still no news in shops for pre-order. There's only one place I found on the net at Hmv and it's a standalone psp3000 in black for £149.99

So where's the promised bundles Sony I'm very disappionted!! Europe and the rest of the world always get a better deal than uk!
Some blogs piont to the fact that retailers want to shift there stocks of slim+lites but this really sucks!!

Thats actually a joke!!!! This product should be promoted more. The UK is a dead market and its doin my head in, were ignored, theres no promotion whatsoever. Just watch, you ask people, PSP-3000 - say what?!?!?!? never heard of it

That would be too far. No psp game is over 2 GB (I beleive) And they are only just starting to be above 1gb really. Most of the ones released before this year (and probabls alot of this years ones too) were under 1gig so Blu ray would eb pointless. I agree that they should make a psp 2 though...

IMO there should be a little connector in the psp2 where you can connect a second analuogue stick for games that support it and they should probably change the format of disk cos the UMD is a little scew whiff.

I talked to the Sony rep at my work, she did not give a specific US release date, but she did mention that it was going to be bundled with Secret Agent Clank, a 4GB stick and some other movie I forget what. The Combo will be the same price as the 2000 combo and the stand alone will be the same price as the 2000 standalone.

Just found on ebay a bundle for new psp 3000! so I think these will be hitting stores soon!! It is a Fifa 09 bundle watch this space!;
PSP 3000 OFFICIAL UK PAL STOCK + FIFA 09 BUNDLED on eBay, also, Sony PSP, Consoles Systems, Video Games (end time 06-Nov-08 21:15:41 GMT)

I pre-ordered a bundle today for release on 17th next week from GameExchange, they said they are expecting 3 different bundles one being the Fifa other to be confirmed next week!
