I was starting to think today about what I should put my life into when I grow older. I think I'm going to be a scientist/science teacher. Does anyone know of a good site where I can get information on requirements and what not for these jobs?

Thanks.

lol, why do you want to be a teacher?

Idk what I'm doing later in life, but I'd bet good money that it's going to be something involving electronics.

Also, I have no idea where I could find that, but my aunt's a teacher, I could give here a call tomorrow, I'm sure she'd know all that technical stuff.

Why do I want to be a teacher? I've never had a bad science teacher EVER. They were all cool and down to earth. I kind of want to be like that. If I'm not a teacher, I'll go into one of the scientific fields.

When you go to college your advisor will tell you everything you need to do to become what you want to become. It's really quite simple.

I was always told that some college classes had to have a precursor during High School. Is this not the case? I'm taking all the science/technology classes I can possibly take (literally. not joking.)

Taking as many classes now that you're in High School can't hurt any, but you can take any class in college that you want to take. If they do have pre-requisites, they will be offered by the college you go to.

For example, my wife had to take a Finite Mathematics class last semester in order to fulfill a requirement, and it had a lower than 100 level pre-requisite(high school level) and it was offered by the college for no credit.

I guess that makes sense. i just have to find a college that majors in science studies. As for the halo crack, halo is pretty damn scientific. have you read the books?

Try applying to CU Boulder, that's where I went to college-Go Buffs. The Astrophysics department is one of the best in the Nation (3 Nobel prize winners in the Physics department). It is also one of the top research universities in the nation too. (Not a bad party school either     )

I'd also suggest checking out the School of Mines. It's a really good school if you're interested in engineering at all.
