In theory he's coming over to raise the profile of Soccer in the United States, something we desperatly need.

Hmm? Was that a stab at my choice in teams? Or was it a stab at the fact that Manchester United has a large fan base, and you think I'm just jumping on the bandwagon? :?

Trigga Man, statistically the Bears did have the best defence in the NFL for most of the first 10 weeks regardless of who their opponents where.

Your right in saying weather plays a huge part, I play the game too and since I live in Scotland we regularly practice in cold, wet weather. Just that weekend there we had a wind chill of -7C and their was so much water on the park that even Jesus would have had a hard time walking over it. Trying to cut was a joke, you just kept going straight regardless of which way you were facing.

Your arguments are all valid but I still think the Colts are going to edge it over the Bears.

It was a bit of both you could say. After all, they have got a big advertisement and publicity machine which is why most people who are football fans outside the UK and Europe are United fans. Even if most couldn't name who is in the squad.

That is no disrespect to you, it is just how football and United work. They are the default team to support, so to speak.

I was thinking more that Arsenal and Real Madrid were the 'in' teams, since they have a lot of the star players.

Regardless, I'm a supporter of Manchester United. Sue me, if you want.

It is an injoke that most Man U fans don't live in Manchester... or the UK come to think of it... or even europe!!! let alone seen them play on TV... or heard them play on a radio commentary...

You could be the exception and in which case enjoy the game but in the deepest darkest corners of Bangladesh there is a pub (use the term losely) filled with Man U artifacts and the barman talks with a Mancunian accent and wheres a red jersey.... :P and yes never been to the UK has no idea where Manchester is or that they have TWO teams hahahahaha

You mean Manchester United and Manchester City? I DO play Fifa, I DO watch the games, and I DO happen to know where Manchester is.

Negativity.

the only reason support Man U is because my brother did when I was younger, plus they were winning most of the time them days (back in the days of Paul Ince, Nicky Butt), don't really know who plays for them now and don't really care, I don't really support any team now, I just enjoy watching football and playing FIFA, maybe play an occasional game in the summer.
