Sorry, but I'm not the typical "speed freak" most people would think I am only because I own a Honda. I was debating between the Civic and a Ram 1500. I chose the Civic only because it was better on gas mileage. I do think fast cars are cool, but mine doesn't have to be. I want a stereo so loud it can blow a woman's clothes off. (those that have seen The Italian Job know what I'm talking about.) However, I don't want it too loud that it becomes distorted. But that is beside the point.

I have HUGE plans for my car and will probably post any updates on what I do to it. :P

im the same as you exaspidey, the most important thig in my car is the soundsystem, OK the head-unit isn't brilliant but its 50w X 4, but that doesnt matter, I've got some kenwood 4-way 6X9's powered by a 200w amp, and a Vibe 10" 1200w powered by a vibe 1200w amp, my god is it loud, and I'm sure it will help in taking a womans clothes off (have seen italian job  ).

and in a car I don't care for speed, I drive a diesel for christ sake! I'm hopefully getting my bike license this year and saving up for a GSX-R750, thats how i'll get m kicks!

nah, theres no changing my mind, had my heart set on a gixer since I was 17, the newer models keep on looking better and better. (except for the ugly exhaust on the k7 1000cc)

Not after a 900 yet anyway, a 600-750 will do for now (i'm still undecided between the 600 and 750, price will probably be a major part in it)

though the new ninja is a gorgeous machine, looks sexy from all angles IMO, just not for me, might get one someday but I think i'd rather go for the fireblade first.

Yeah, but if you get a fast car, they'll take their clothes off for you. (joking)

The Kwak 9 is too light... doing speed on the Motorway is hard work (and dangerous) with a side wind.... mate of mine has one and when we went to Donnington for the MotoGP he was having a horrendous time keeping the speed to 100mph... the bike could easily achieve these low speeds but the side winds were killing him.

Remember lads that a 600gixxer or a 600cbr are more fun in the twisties that a their bigger brothers and cheaper to run too. A good rider on a 600gixxer can take down bigger faster bikes anyday in traffic or in the twisties.... open roads the extra power shows obviously.

Just my penny worth
