My dad's been trying to quit, he haaaaaaaaaaaaates it, lol. He's been off the cigs for about 2 1/2 months now. Today he was freaking out, he was like "GOD!!! I'D SHOOT A BUSFULL OF NUNS FOR A GOD DA** CIGARETTE!!!" he was getting ****ed. I'd say it's not worth it if you've been smoking for a long time, I'd just continue because it seems like it's HARD.

Ciggies are just bad full stop, never going to start! Only time I'll smoke is when i've had a drink! And it's one of my resolutions to cut back on that too but I have a party tonight

I can't really give you a number on the scale, I've only not smoked for 3 days now, its just times when you usually will have a ciggie just because of habit (after a meal, in the car, during work) are the hardest times, but the craving for one only lasts for a few minutes, just need to ask myself "I could have one, but what's the point?" It IS VERY HARD though, I said I would quit on new years, took me 4 days to get myself to stop. Wish me luck

I tried quitting, and it lasted for 3 days, I teach so after a long day I get pretty stressed out and need a cigarette bad.
I'll probably try to quit before I turn 30 in a few years. I read somewhere that it takes 15 years for your body to return to normal after you quit smoking so I figure by the time I'm 45 I'll be healthy again. My advice on the best way to not smoke is DON'T START. It just ends up being a pain in the ass. Not to mention all the money you spend. |
