I personally think it's the best PS3 game out right now. It's sort of a mix of Halo and Battlefield in my opinion. The only complaint I have about it is that there are so few maps. It's addictive as hell though (I've spent 8 hours straight playing it, just couldn't stop), and because of the dedicated servers, I've yet to experience any lag at all, even in 32 player matches. So yeah, it's really really good.

Nope, in fact there are no 360 games that use dedicated servers, and the only one I know of that's gonna be coming out for it that will is Frontlines: Fuel of war. In this generation most online games use the actual consoles as servers most of the time. Weird huh?

You pay 30 pounds for use of their proprietary network. I don't know how they work things out like hosts having less lag or whatever though. If it's any consolation though, the only games for the PS3 that I know of that use dedicated servers are Resistance and Warhawk.
I read somewhere that you only really need them if you have huge amounts of players playing multiplayer. For games with 8-16 people though the machines work just fine at handling the server and game at the same time. |

You know what game I want when the price goes down? Stuntman Ignition. I never played the original and this one wasn't even on my wanted list until I played the demo a few days ago. It's a really good under the radar game.

You didn't like it? I thought it was awesome, with all the explosions and crazy stuff happening in the background. I also like having to do each run as close to perfect as you can, it's really challenging but to me it was fun and didn't get old. It's almost reminded me of Crash Mode in Burnout Legends.
