Rally

I'm going to see the Cambrian rally tomorrow (woohoo!!!!) so I thought I would start a topic on it, anyone else go to see rallying? or take part in any? or is anyone going to see the cambrian?

I'm getting up at 7:30 so we can go see a 'spectator designed quarry' where you can apparently see a rally car for 40 seconds of driving, sounds wicked, I cant wait to see my fave driver at the mo, Andy Burton in his project car, a Peugeot 306 with a cosworth engine in it! man it flies. and he bloody tools it!

gonna be bloody cold though, its just started to freeze here, was -1c last night at around 10pm.

Me and a few mates sometimes go splits on a car for us to rag around the forest for a week or so, then once it dies, take it to a cool quarry with jumps for dirtbikes etc. then either burn it or roll it off a cliff into a deep pool in the quarry (and i mean deep, there must be hundreds of cars in it).[/img]

Cool, I love playing Rally games and watching them on TV. I would love to go see one at some point

well it was amazing, we saw andy burton once, was going fast fair play to him (and i mean FAST) quicker han all the other scoobies and Evo's, shame the peugeot engine blew up.

Oh and we almost got nailed by a subaru going sideways on an off camber corner, got the heart thumping a bit.

You would love going to see a rally, espeially walking on the track listening out for any rally cars coming, then diving into the hedge at the last moment.
